I'm Catholic.

In Catholicism and most other major religions, sexual attraction to the same gender is considered morally wrong and against God/Allah/Yahweh's plan.

In my point-of-view, it is insulting in my religion for same-gender attraction. But, I also believe that people have the human right to adjust their own sexual orientation.

For trans genders, it really isn't your fault for the way you are; you were born that way, and if you wish to change, that is your choice and no one else's'.

Gay marriage, in my point-of-view, is extremely insulting in the Catholic faith. I take it severely offensive for a homosexual couple to marry underneath Catholic blessing.

However, I strongly believe that a homosexual couple do have the right to a romantic, celestial, and legal matrimony.

If you have anything to say to me, comment on this journal.

Loving someone that doesn't love you is like reaching for a star - You know you'll never reach it but you just got to keep trying

If all is fair in love and war does that mean it's legal to shoot my partner????

I believe that they do have the right to choose. Everyone has a right to choose, but it is against God's plan, and it is an offense against God. It's Biblically wrong too...So is forinication before marrage between two of opposite genders as well as adultury...

And no, it's not a person's fault that they were born a certain way...but God made them a certain gender for a certain reason. Changing it is another thing against His plan...

I apologize if I didn't capitalize His enough times...anyways...I won't bash someone or force them to be a certain way, but I do believe it is wrong...

Of course I usually find nothing wrong with not acting according to the gender stereotype...and I find nothing wrong with men hugging, or even holding hands with each other. In fact I heard in some cultures it's a symbol of friendship for men to hold hands, not romance...I think that was India...While I think homosexuality is wrong and a sin, but won't bash anyone for their decisions, I'm not exactly as strict as what I consider to be homosexuality...in fact I think if people were a lot more accepting of certian behaviors/feelings that men/girls have that are against the stereotype, such as men being sensative and liking the color pink, that there might be less homos out there...I blame society, media...and believe it or not, an improper diet...

According to a health seminar I went to, cats were fed a certain diet that was like...cooked beef or something, I don't know. But their diet made them sexually confused.

I don't exactly blame it all on diet though.

While religions like those have rules against such things like that, they really can't stereotype, because they have no idea what it is like to be in such a position,
I believe people should be completly free about their sexuality and not be in fear of fingers pointing at them, being put down because of who they are.
some people simply can't help the way they feel, and I think it is a sin to be singled out and insulted because of it, even to the point of marriage.

At least you're honest. I'm sure there are Catholics that just treat homosexuals like they're nothing.

I don't think it's morally right on my part but I respect all of them as real and genuine and decent people. To me, "folks is just folks." Homosexual or not.

I believe if you're in love it shouldnt matter what the fuck you're religion or sex is. it should purely be of you're own free will and choice and I don't think anyone should force people to be diffrent. if they are of that religion but are gay or bi or w/e they should be fully accepted for that. sorry if I sound harsh or anything I don't mean to be babes :D just my veiws on it. :) we should talk we haven't talked in ages ^^
